Hernando Heritage Museum
Come visit the beautiful Hernando Heritage Museum and see some or all of the
11,000 artifacts on display there...Open Tues. thru Sat....12:00 to 03:00..The museum
is home of the Brooksville Raid which was voted by the Florida reenactors as the best and largest civil war reenactment in Florida.
The May-Stringer Heritage Museum is a 4 story l2 room antebellum home built in l856. The home is decorated in the civil war, Victorian era. Over 11,000 artifacts on display. Guided tours Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 3:00. Donation $3.00 adults $l.00 children. Please allow 45 minutes. |
